ISOLA Concept: Taking its cue from the renowned Hong Kong restaurant of the same name, ISOLA Shanghai is a stylish Italian restaurant located at the new Shanghai ifc mall.


Combining a contemporary ‘white on white’ design reminiscent of its Hong Kong counterpart with a sweeping outdoor terrace, VIP rooms and intimate cocktail lounge makes Isola Shanghai every inch this cosmopolitan city’s hottest dining destination.


ISOLA Shanghai is part of the Hong Kong based Gaia Group, which is renowned for stylish and authentic Italian restaurants in Hong Kong and Shanghai


Isola means “island” in Italian.


Restaurant Highlights:  ISOLA’s 7,700 square feet dining room makes it Shanghai ifc mall’s largest restaurant. Whilst its vast outdoor terrace and stunning view over some of the Shanghai skyline’s most iconic buildings makes it one of Pudong’s most sought after.


The restaurant’s open kitchen with its chefs in action, the dynamic artwork that punctuates the dining room’s white walls, and the Futurist inspired motif used throughout embody the urban industrial vitality that is today’s Shanghai.


The Chef: Chef Marco Busatti With over 20 years experience in fine dining kitchens, Marco Busatti born in Tuscany in 1973, starts his career at 16 years old as an Apprentice Pastry Chef.
He soon discovers a passion for more than just Pasty, and joins Michelin-Starred Chef “Pierangelo Barontini” in his Restaurant in Montecatini, Tuscany, where he stays for over 6 years and where he starts learning the job of a Chef from the very beginning.


Following these positive 6 years, he joins Michelin-Starred Restaurant “Il Castagno” in Tuscany for another exciting 5 years relationship, which will enrich and develop his knowledge and skills to the position of Sous Chef.

He will than be working in Fine Dining Restaurants all over Tuscany and training with International Michelin-Starred Chefs such as Igles Corelli, Gianfranco Vissani and Ferran Adria from the multi-awarded Restaurant El Bulli.

These are the years where Marco consolidates his knowledge and creativity in what has soon become his culinary style, which will fully express when he joins as Executive Chef  “L’Altro Uno Rosso” Restaurant, Florence and will further define to “Le Tre Lune” where he stays up until Isola Shanghai knocks at his door!


A traditional Tuscan Cusine served in a modern and stylish fashion, where revised recipes and creativity bond with the freshest ingredients to guarantee its authenticity.

Available at lunch and dinner from the a la carte menu, steamed Boston lobster with green apple or Australian fillet Wagyu beef tartare with parmesan ice cream, follow with home made hand twisted pasta “Strozzapreti” with Italian black truffle, Parma ham and broad beans or open “ Lasagna” with red prawns, broccoli and saffron sauce. Main course, oven baked fillet of Grouper in salt crust with mix

of baby vegetables in red wine vinaigrette or grilled sirloin Wagyu beef with Chianti reduction. Selection of dessert like chocolate and vanilla parfait “Zuccotto” or cappuccino crème brûlée.



At lunch, choose the renowned Isola antipasti buffet as part of a three-course set including a choice of main courses plus dessert buffet.


Wine List: A well chosen and comprehensive menu of handpicked wines from across Italy’s numerous wine producing regions including an extensive selection of Spumante and Prosecco. A choice of 17 wines are available by the glass.
